RENTAL DURATION
When calculating the number of days a vehicle is rented, the day of pick-up is counted as day one of the rental, regardless of pick-up time. The day of the vehicle's return is counted as the final day of the rental. When a rental moves from one rate season into the next, the calculation is based on both rates.
Minimum rental period is 7 days.
Special rates are available for rentals of more than 30 days. Details available on application.
Late pick up or early return of vehicle does not entitle the hirer to any refund of the unused portion

PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
A helpful hint : if possible, try not to start your holiday on the same day you collect your rental vehicle. We need to show you exactly how to get the most out of your camper, and this will take some time. Therefore it is advisable not to plan any long-distance stretches for the first day of the rental. In any case, we advise you to follow the indications on the planned itineraries supplied with the camper. Should the late return of the vehicle make us liable for extra costs (e.g. compensation of the next hirer), we reserve the right to pass on these costs to you. The vehicle is insured for the rental period ONLY, thus late return of the vehicle would incur a traffic offence under the road traffic act. We strongly recommend that all renters take out additional Personal Holiday Insurance.

BRANCH HOURS FOR PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF
Vehicles should be picked-up and dropped-off in the following hours.
Mon to Fri 9.00 to 12.00 or 15.00 to 18.00,
Since the times and dates for collecting and returning campers are carefully planned, please return your camper on time. A penalty of €25 per hour is payable for time between expiry of the rent agreement and the return of your vehicle up to the maximum penalty of the daily rental charge if returned on the same day; If returned on a later date the extra days will be charged on a per day basis.

PAYMENTS
A deposit of 10% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking (bank draft).
The remaining costs of the tour can be paid by credit card (VISA or Master Card) or travellers cheques when you collect the camper at CamperToursItaly.

VEHICLE SECURITY DEPOSIT
On pick up of the vehicle, a Vehicle Security Deposit of €1,500 is payable. The Security Deposit is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged, with a clean interior. We reserve the right to retain a €100 soiling fee if the vehicle is not returned with the interior in a clean condition. The toilet and waste water tank (if applicable) must be emptied prior to the return of the vehicle, or an additional €100 soiling fee will be retained - I Ropa Centre is equipped with water disposal areas which you can use free of charge.

INFRINGEMENTS
We reserve the right to charge the hirer for any speeding, parking or tollway fines, associated administration costs and/or accidents including third party property damage not reported on return of the vehicle. The administration fee per fine will be €30. The hirer will also indemnify CamperToursItaly from any liability.

EXCHANGE RATE / CURRENCY VARIATIONS
All credit card transactions are conducted in Euro.

CREDIT CARDS
If a credit card is presented as payment, the credit card holder will be jointly and severally liable as a customer.
The following credit cards will be accepted: Visa Card, Mastercard

CHEQUES
Travellers cheques are accepted as payment.
Personal and Company cheques will not be accepted as payment for rentals at the time of pick-up. These must be paid to CamperToursItaly at least 3 weeks prior to commencement of rentals.
Personal or Company cheques are not acceptable as the vehicle security deposit.

LICENCE
A full drivers licence, held for a least one year, is to be presented at the time of rental. No one other than the drivers named in the insurance proposal form may drive the rental camper.

DRIVERS
Drivers must be 22 years of age or over. A medical certificate stating that the customer is fit to drive the vehicle they have booked for the duration of the hire is required for drivers over the age of 75.

LIVING EQUIPMENT
Bedclothes and kitchen equipment (picnic set, pots and pans, bed linen, sleeping bags and pillows) are included in the daily rental rate for "Camper Tours" and "Camper Tours Convoy" only.
They are NOT included in the 'Standard Hire' daily rental rate.
Petrol, beach towels, bathtowels and bathrobes are not supplied.

TRAVEL AND ROAD RESTRICTIONS
Campers should only be driven on surfaced roads. As a guide it is advisable to follow the indications given on the itinerary supplied with the rental camper.

CHANGE OF VEHICLE
Should the vehicle booked be unavailable through unforeseen circumstances, CamperToursItaly reserves the right to substitute an alternative vehicle, of the same size, without prior notification and at no extra cost. This shall not constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle the hirer to a refund.

VOLUNTARY DOWNGRADE
Should the hirer decide to take a smaller vehicle than booked they will not be entitled to any refund.

CANCELLATION FEE
In case of cancellation the booking deposit fee (10% of total tour cost) will not be refunded.
If vehicle is returned early for any reason whatsoever no refund available.

IMPORTANT
CamperToursItaly reserves the right to refuse any rental at its discretion.

ANIMALS
No animals are permitted in our vehicles.
